Business Ethics & Quality Policy

ErmisBus considers the successful management of all quality and ethical issues to be of the highest importance, and aims at the continuous improvement of its functions by the implementation of all relevant international standards.

ErmisBus:

  • Focuses on the achievement of the highest possible performance in all functions

  • Takes into consideration all quality and ethical aspects when it comes to decision making.

  • Ensures the complete and unnegotiable conformity with all applicable legislation and with all contractual requirements. For ErmisBus health, safety and the well-being of all stakeholders is paramount.

To honor the above, ErmisBus ensure’s:

    • To respect and accordingly handle any privileged or confidential information concerning either the Company itself, business partners and associates or other interested parties.

    • The conformity with all applicable legislation and with all contractual requirements, as well as the promotion of transparency in all activities, both the Company’s and its’ associates and business partners.

    • To interact with respect to the personality of each individual, regardless of race, religious belief, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, age or national origin. All partners who interact directly or indirectly on behalf of ErmisBus, must also demonstrate the same respect.

    • To promote its professional reputation based on the quality of provided services and products, rather than through unfair competition.

    • For bribes or equivalents of any kind, aimed at the realization of irregularities and favors, never to be accepted neither by the Company nor its’ associates and business partners.

    • To refrain, both the Company and its’ associates, from all practices that could lead to criminal liability on fraud, infidelity or abuse, bankruptcy or other offenses of corruption.

    • That wrongdoings or irregularities, both from representatives of the Company and its’ partners, will –under no circumstances- be tolerated.

    • To always operate on a high moral basis and to safeguard the interests of the Company, its’ partners and all stakeholders and third parties.

In any case where deviation from the conformance with the applicable legislation, contractual requirements or the implemented Code of Conduct is established, ErmisBus ensures that appropriate measures will be immediately taken.

  • Develops and implements an appropriate Management System to ensure the achievement of the Quality performance set by the General Manager throughout its’ operations, with emphasis on:

  • The management of adequate & efficient facilities, in order to ensure a safe working environment while mitigating environmental impacts.

  • Providing sufficient information, instructions, training and adequate supervision, by competent personnel, in order to create safe and environmentally sensitive working conditions.

    • Setting and monitoring of performance indicators for Quality, including:

      • Quality Goals

      • Training

      • Internal controls on quality issues

The General Manager has overall responsibility for this Policy.

ErmisBus will provide all the resources required for the implementation of this Policy.

For the implementation of this Policy, all ErmisBus’s personnel and associates are responsibly to implement and promote the Company’s Ethics Code.

For the implementation of this Policy, all ErmisBus’s personnel and associates are responsibly to demonstrate the Company’s commitment to Quality and to provide for the further improvement of its operations that deal with the trade and manufacture of buses.
